I am also a huge Eva fan and I just received my book today in the mail....so excited!!! I love it and feel it it put together in very simple terms. When you already know how the song sounds....it makes since and the tabs are there for the whole song....it's just separated for example all songs repeat so it will give you the tab for each particular part....then when you get to that part in the song you play that same tab again...just sing the new words...it's different than most tab books but I like this one because it's very specific. ..even gives you finger diagrams above each chord....if you don't like how the tabs are separated...you could re write it where it seems more clear....at least all of the lyrics are there and the beautiful chords she played!! :) the book is 100% worth getting....fixing to order another. ...so happy and thankful!
I am a big Eva Cassidy fan, and I have been trying to learn her guitar songs. I had been doing it at ultimateguitar.com, but wanted a handy book for quick reference. Some of my favorite songs of hers are not included in the book, which is okay, because I knew that before I bought it. My big gripe with it is that only the first portion of the songs show the guitar tabs, and then inexplicably, less than halfway through the songs, the tabs just end, and the rest of the song just has the musical notes for the tune. That's pretty weak! The portions that are tabbed out seem accurate, though.
